Classes & Lessons

Working in clay is a rewarding and deeply nourishing experience that engages your heart, mind and soul. It's cheaper than therapy and it's a lot more fun.

Plus, you get to take home and use your beautiful creations.

Weekly Ceramics Class

Hone your hand-building skills, and explore exciting techniques for glazing and surface decoration as you create your own unique functional art.

In this weekly 3-hour class students work their own independent projects, with assistance and instruction as needed.

This is the kind of class that I joined nearly 10 years ago when I first made aliyah, and I found it to be a deeply nourishing and mindful anchor to my week that brought me joy and serenity.

Depending on your preference or mood, you can work quietly by yourself, or enjoy the company and collaboration of your claymates. The studio has multiple work tables, to allow for both work styles.

Lessons for Life from a Lump of Clay

An interactive hands-on class for art and life.

Part mindfulness, part ceramics class, this class allows you to experience the powerful spiritual lessons you can activate by working in clay. Actualize these lessons in your day-to-day life, and watch how it impacts your relationships with yourself, with others, and with G-d.

As you work in the clay you will begin to experience on a physical level many deep and powerful spiritual lessons you have strived to develop in your life and relationships. As you experience the lessons of the clay, things like patience, acceptance, re-framing, forgiveness, mindfulness, courage, you will find them becoming more accessible to you your day to day life.
